The Story Behind Pablocity
The short version: I spent sixteen years sitting with people through the hardest parts of their lives. Pablocity is what I built with everything that taught me.
For sixteen years, I worked alongside people going through health struggles, diagnoses, and recovery — the appointments they dreaded, the conversations they kept putting off, the slow work of trusting themselves again. You learn things in that kind of work that don’t show up in a business plan. Mainly this: most people don’t need to be told to try harder. They need someone to make the next step smaller and clearer.
That’s the thread running through everything I make now, even though it looks like two unrelated businesses.
Why a website builder is writing about avoidance and healing
It’s the same skill, pointed in two directions.
A business owner staring at a blank website and a person staring at a test result they haven’t opened are both stuck for the same reason — the next step feels too big, so nothing happens. My job, in both cases, is to shrink that step down until it’s actually doable. For a business, that’s a free demo instead of a $5,000 quote. For a person, that’s a method instead of a lecture.
The Hidden Weight came out of years of watching that pattern up close. Pablocity’s websites came out of watching small business owners freeze the exact same way in front of a blinking cursor.
Why I do this myself
No agency, no outsourced team, no account manager relaying your emails to someone else. If you get a demo, I built it. If you read a guide, I wrote it. That’s not a scale strategy — it’s just the only way I know how to keep the work honest.
What I’m working on next
More guides in the same spirit as The Hidden Weight, and more demos for business owners who’ve been putting off the site they know they need. If either sounds like you, say hello — I answer everything myself.
